The Maguire O'Shea academy has been running for thirty four years.
Kahleen Maguire has won three world championships and together with her husband Michael Maguire they have produced many World, All Ireland and all major champions. With many of their dancers going on to perform in major shows such as 'Riverdance' and 'Lord of the Dance'.
They have six children, two of their children are currently performing in Riverdance. Darren their eldest son has performed the lead in the show, Michael is also with the same troupe. Their youngest son Ciaran has performed in Dancing on Dangerous Ground with Colin Dunne and Jean Butler. He is now a lead in Magic of the Dance. Katie performed with Riverdance for eight years and was Dance captain while the troupe perfromed in China and Japan.
Many of their
other pupils are also lead dancers in various shows, making Maguire O'Shea
one of the most successful schools in the world. Their youngest daughter Ellie
won the World Championship three times making Irish dance history, being the
first mother and daughter to both win the world championships.

Sean
Achieved first place at the Great Britains and the Regional Oireachtas. He was also fourth at the World Championships. Currently Sean is an actor with a series in LA, called Eve and Prince Charming on sky now.
Michael
Michael was sixth in the World championships and won the Qualifying Oireachtas, and has trained as a Trainee understudy in Riverdance.
Katie
Katie has won the North American championships twice, and was first in the Qualifying Oireachtas. Katie was third in the World Championships twice and a Riverdance Dance captain before passing her teachers exam and teaching the Maguire O'Shea academy.

Ciaran
Ciaran is the lead in the show Celtic feet with Marian Turley and also the lead in Magic of the Dance.
Ellie
Ellie has won Twenty-three major titles, which include Three European Championships, Four All Irelands, Three Great Britains, Six North American Championships, the British Nationals, the All Scotlands and also the European champion of champions. Ellie has also won the World Championships on three occasions.
Darren
Currently in Riverdance, Darren has titles including the Great Britains, All England, All Ireland and the Regional Oireachtas as well as second place in the Worlds. Darren has passed his teachers exam and will join his parents and Katie to train the Maguire O'Shea Academy after he leaves Riverdance
